‘That’s the marquee win we’ve been waiting for:’ Bulldogs take down Regina 21-7

“Last week I thought was one of the best defensive efforts we ever had, but we might have had it beat tonight,” said head coach Dan Anderson after the Bulldogs’ 21-7 win over the Regals. MFL MarMac’s defense held Regina to just 77 rushing yards and kept the powerful Regal offense off the board until late in the fourth quarter. Kaden Stocker snagged a 26-yard reception in MFL MarMac’s win at Regina.

The Bulldog defense, including Tristen Koehn, pressured the Regina quarterbacks throughout the night.

Running back Cullen McShane had 77 yards and a touchdown on 15 rushing attempts and caught one pass.

“We came out really jacked up,” said Wyatt Powell. “We played four great quarters and, sometimes, you can’t do that. Tonight, we really showed we can do that.”

Fullback Gabe McGeough ran the ball 16 times for 60 yards.

Austin Schlee recorded one of MFL MarMac's two sacks and also made 6 tackles.

Quarterback Carver Blietz-Bentien hands the ball off in the Bulldogs' win.
