Warrior girls continue to find success on the wrestling mat

Pape, Ruff come out on top in Central Scramble

Kadence Pape won the 125-pound division at the Central Scramble, marking her second meet or tournament victory this season.

Mackenzie Bachman finished second, after going 2-1 in matches.

Amelya Weigand was one of three Bulldog wrestlers who placed third at their respective weights at the Central Scramble.

MFL MarMac football players achieve all-state status

Karter Decker

Four MFL MarMac players are on the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association and Iowa Football Coaches Association 2022 all-state football teams. Senior offensive lineman Hunter Meyer and junior linebacker Kade McElwaine were both selected to the Class 1A first team, while junior Wyatt Powell and senior Karter Decker were respectively named to the second team as a running back and returner.
