Martha Jackson, 80, of McGregor, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was born in California on Sept. 30, 1940, to Howard and Wilma (Kepple) Rockwell. Martha was raised in Coon Rapids by her mother and stepfather James Whalley.

Donna J. Doyle

Donna Jean Doyle, 83, of Harpers Ferry, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, following a short illness. She was born in Gays Mills, Wis., to Harold and Marie (Overboe) Natwick on May 1, 1938. Donna graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1956. She began her nursing career at General Hospital in Prairie du Chien and continued her nursing education at Winona Sate.

Ann T. Moyna

Ann Moyna, 54, of Altoona, passed away May 5, 2021, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines due to complications of ovarian cancer. Ann Terese (McClimon) Moyna was born Sept. 22, 1966, in DeWitt, to Fabian and Winifred (Wallace) McClimon. She was a 1985 graduate of Central DeWitt High School and the former American Institute of Commerce in Bettendorf, graduating in 1988. On Nov. 26, 1988, Ann was united in marriage to Stephen Moyna at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt.

Milton L. Johnson

Milton Lee Johnson, P.E. (professional engineer), age 89, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. Milton was born Dec. 7, 1931, in Lake Mills, to parents Selmer Melvin Johnson and Dorothea Adeline Ruby Johnson. He was baptized and confirmed in Asbury Methodist Church, Lake Mills. He attended school in Lake Mills, graduating from high school in 1949. He earned his degree, bachelor of science in civil engineering, from Iowa State College (ISC) in 1957. He obtained his P.E. certification in 1960.

Ronald Gregory Dougherty of Elkader passed away peacefully at his home on May 1, 2021. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jean Dougherty, and his infant brother, Gerald. Ron was born Aug. 8, 1959, at Waukon.

Francis Casper Schoulte, 84, of Monona, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Garden View Place in Monona. He was born April 10, 1937, to Casper J. and Katherine (Riley) Schoulte in McGregor. Francis was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary Catholic Church in McGregor.

Janice Yvonne Smith, 85, of West Union, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Janice was born on Sept. 1, 1935, to Elmer and Marie (Schultz) Meyer. Janice grew up in the rural Millville area and graduated from Guttenberg High School.
