William M. Blanchard, 81, of Guttenberg passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2025, at his home with his family by his side.

Funeral services were Monday, March 3, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Visitation was before services at the funeral home.

Private family burial was at the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Military honors were accorded by Offutt Air Force Honor Guard.

Rhonda Leona Gebhardt, 63, of Champlin, Minn., formerly of Guttenberg, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 21, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Visitation will continue at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg from 9-10 a.m. prior to funeral services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Paul Kwaku Ameyaw.

Ivanelle M. Bolsinger, 93, of Guttenberg, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 17, at United Methodist Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Neil Hofer. Visitation was before services at the church.

Burial was at Bethel Cemetery in Colesburg.

Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 13, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 14, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Guttenberg.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, with a luncheon to follow in the Fellowship Hall.

The burial will be in Garnavillo City Cemetery.

Alice Jane “A.J.” Walter

Our beautiful, incredible Mother, Alice Jane “A.J.” Walter can be summed up in two words: grace and dignity. On Jan. 30, 2025, A.J. took flight with the angels.

We were blessed to call her our Mom, but even more blessed that we have so many friends who adopted her as “Mom A.J.” She touched the lives of so many people, it is almost hard to fathom at times. She was a friend, teacher, mentor, 4-H leader, sorority and fraternity house mom, confidant and friend. In all of these roles, she had a special gift, not just teaching, but listening. A.J. took the time to listen to people and then figure out how she could help or guide them.

Funeral services will at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, at St. John Catholic Church in Coggon.
