Alan Eugene Troester, 62, of Guttenberg, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at University Iowa Hospital, in Iowa City. 

Visitation and memorial services were Wednesday, July 31, at Morris Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Alan was born on July 25, 1961, to Eugene Troester and Norma (Lamphier) Nelson. He graduated from Garnavillo High School in 1980.

Robert Clarence Cornwell, 80, Gillette Wyo. passed away surrounded by family on July 7, 2024.

Burial will be Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. at Ceres Cemetery, Garnavillo. A reception will follow at Garnavillo Community Center.

Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan, Wyo. was in charge of arrangements.

Private services will be held with burial at Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Our beloved Gladys Ivanelle (Kregel) Scheppele went to be with Jesus on July 10, 2024.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Koning Maple Lane Event Center, N3051 State Hwy 81, Monroe, Wis. There will be a light lunch from 12-1:30 p.m. with a program honoring Gladdy from 2-4 p.m.

Gladys was born Sept. 3, 1927, to Arno and Hattie Kregel in Garnavillo.

Debra Kay Rose, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 2, 1956, in Madison, Wis. and grew up in Fennimore, Wis. Debra was known as Mema and was a friend to many. Mema enjoyed baking, reading, telling stories, and writing mystery stories. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and friends

Visitation was Tuesday, July 2, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home in Monona and before services at the church.

Funeral services were on Wednesday, July 3, at Faith Lutheran Church in Monona, conducted by Rev. Mel Harris.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Garnavillo. Funeral services will commence at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Garnavillo City Cemetery, conducted by Pastor David Lenth.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo where a memorial service will commence at 1 p.m. Pastor Paul Losik will officiate.

Visitation was Sunday, June 9, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Monday, June 10, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pages
