Jay D. Kolker, 81, of Coralville died Monday, May 2, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a battle with cancer.

Visitation was Thursday, May 5, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, May 6, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Michael Ashman.

Linda (Schutte) Marting, 71, of Montour died March 13, 2022 at Grinnell Regional Medical Center. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the south gazebo on River Park Drive, Guttenberg. Food will be served.

Linda was born Feb. 2, 1951 in Farmersburg and was a 1969 graduate of Guttenberg High School.

Curtis H. Troester, 90, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 7, at 12 noon at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Deacon Pat Malanaphy. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Military honors will be accorded graveside by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard.

Karolyn Downey, 76, of Guttenberg, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque.

Funeral services were Friday, April 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elkader, conducted by Rev. John Haugen. Visitation was before services at the church. 

Inurnment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, Elkader.

Alan Ray Fintel, 62, of rural Paullina passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his residence.

Memorial services were Saturday, April 30, at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina, conducted by Rev. Donald Meyer. A celebration of life followed at the Lodge at Paullina Lake.

Burial was at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.

Interment was at Guttenberg City Cemetery, Guttenberg.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 26, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Michael Ashman.

Richard Allen Seehase, 71, of Guttenberg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.

Dick was born on April 3, 1951, in Sumner, the son of Arnold and Berdine (Lampe) Seehase. Dick was raised in the Sumner area and was a 1969 graduate of Sumner High School.

Sister Clara Mae Kuempel, Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA), 90, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Villa St. Joseph, La Crosse, Wis. She was in the sixty-ninth year of her religious profession.

Visitation was Thursday, April 7, at St. Rose Convent, La Crosse. 

Funeral services were Friday, April 8, in the convent chapel.
