In July 2015, Crossing Rivers Health expanded to offer a new Center for Specialty Care to patients in southwest Wisconsin and northeast Iowa who want to be seen by specialists locally rather than drive out of town for such care. Having these specialists available regularly also means more opportunities for community education.
“The Center for Specialty Care was developed to meet the health care needs of the area, as they were identified from a community health needs assessment,” stated Mandy Pettit, clinic nurse manager and lactation consultant for Crossing Rivers Health. “A lot of our growth has come from that assessment. We’re really happy to bring these services to life right here, close to home for our patients in the region.”
The Center for Specialty Care is located at the medical center, in the outpatient services area from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and in the urgent care area after hours.
