Eight different girls basketball players from Seneca and Wauzeka-Steuben were recently honored with postseason honors by the Ridge & Valley Conference for the 2025-26 season.

The Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets were led by first team all-conference selections by seniors Isabella Bunders and Natalie Wright. The seniors both improved on their league honors from a year ago when Bunders was named to the sportsmanship team and Wright to the honorable mention team.

Named to the league’s second team was Seneca senior Dhyllan Kemp and Wauzeka-Steuben senior Macy Mitchell.

Honorable mention selections included Seneca junior Emma Manning and Wauzeka-Steuben ninth-grader Abby Wright.

Earning a spot on the league’s all-conference team was Bunders and Seneca senior Camryn Lenzendorf.

De Soto won the Ridge & Valley conference championship with a 12-0 record, their first conference title since 2006.
