River Ridge senior Brandon Davis was named the 2025-26 Six Rivers West Conference Player of the Year. Davis scored 344 points in conference play for an average of 20.2 points per game. He also averaged 8.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.1 steals per conference game. Davis finished his career with 1,253 points, 534 rebounds, 405 assists and 236 steals. (A.J. River Ridge senior Brandon Davis was named the 2025-26 Six Rivers West Boys Basketball Player of the Year by the Six Rivers Conference last week.
Davis, who also earned his second consecutive first team all-conference selection, was one of seven River Ridge boys and girls basketball players to receive recognition from the Six Rivers Conference for the 2025-26 season.
In addition to Davis, the boys basketball all-conference team also named senior Brock Bunge and junior Noah Copsey honorable mentions and junior Jackson White to the sportsmanship team.
The Timberwolves had a pair of players in junior Erin Adrian and sophomore Ava Nies named second team all-conference, while junior McKenzie Taylor was named to the sportsmanship team.
Shullsburg won the girls conference championship with a 12-3 record while Belmont finished in first on the boys side with 15-2 record, one game ahead of River Ridge and Potosi/Cassville.
