PdC girls sixth at Dells

The Prairie du Chien girls wrestling team traveled to Wisconsin Dells last Friday, Dec. 12 for the Duals in the Dells Girls Tourney and came away with three first place finishes and a sixth place team finish out of 46 teams with 85.5 points.

 

Placing first for the Hawks was Rosalie Kossman at 100 pounds (4-0), Paytin Primmer in the 132A bracket (3-0) and Britney Petsche at 185 pounds (5-0). The three girls combined to win 11 of their 12 matches by fall. Also placing for the Hawks at the tournament was Aspen Gelo, fifth at 120 pounds (4-2) and Alyseia Schnitzler, ninth at 100 pounds (3-1).
 

Other PdC wrestlers competing in the meet were Kylee Langdon (1-2 at 114),  Hannah Ingham (0-2 at 132) and Aleaha Wall (2-2 at 185).
 

Next up is the MFL MarMac Girls Invite this Friday night at 5:00 pm. The Hawks then travel to Madison the next day for the Badger State Invite at the Alliant Energy Center. Wrestling will begin at 9:00 a.m.
