The Seneca Royals boys basketball team welcomed the Kickapoo Panthers (ranked fifth in D5 by Bound Wisconsin/ZaleskiSports) town last Friday, Dec. 12 and the Panthers showed why they are ranked so high by delivering the Royals a 70-58 defeat. Senior Jackson Konichek led the Royals in scoring with 19 points and rebounding with eight rebounds.

Seniors Hunter Hagensick (12 points) and Gage Wall (10 points) also scored in double figures while senior Carson Sime (eight points), senior Kaden Roberts (three points), junior Owen George (three points) and sophomore Basil Hall (three points) rounded out the Royals scoring log. Kickapoo improved to 4-0 with the win while Seneca dropped to 1-2 with the loss.

The Royals were scheduled to travel to Cashton this past Tuesday night, Dec. 16 before ending the week at De Soto this Thursday, Dec. 16.
