Hawks bested in trio of games

The Prairie du Chien boys basketball team opened their 2025-26 season this past week with a trio of non-conference games. First up for the Hawks last Tuesday, Dec. 2 was the Fennimore Golden Eagles and the visitors defeated the Hawks 63-37. PdC was back at home two nights later to host the Iowa-Grant Panthers and I-G claimed a 58-28 victory.

PdC concluded the week this past Friday night when they traveled to Viroqua to take on the Viroqua Blackhawks and were defeated 66-40. Stats for all three games were not available as of press time.

Prairie du Chien was scheduled to host Black River Falls in a recently scheduled game last night Dec. 9 before beginning conference play by hosting Platteville this Friday night.
