Eighteen different players from the River Ridge and Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben football teams earned all-conference honors from the Six Rivers Conference for the 2025 season.
Leading the way as a first-team selection on offense at quarterback and on defense as an outside linebacker was River Ridge senior Brandon Davis, who was also named the league’s Offensive Player of the Year. He was joined on the offensive first team by senior teammate Eli Hamilton on the offensive line.
Davis was 45-of-82 passing wise for 641 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions while also leading the Timberwolves in rushing with 80 carries for 731 yards and eight touchdowns and five two-pont conversions. Davis also added 54 total tackles (41 solo, 12 tackles for a loss and one sack), one forced fumble and one interception return on defense.
The Bluegolds had a pair of first team selections on offense in senior Jackson Konichek at tight end/halfback and senior Sawyer Swiggum as an offensive lineman. S-W-S had four selections on the defensive first team including senior Cooper Lomas at both defensive end and punter. Lomas was joined by Swiggum at inside linebacker and senior Gage Wall at outside linebacker.
A pair of Bluegolds and a pair of Timberwolves were named second team offense and that included junior wide receiver Cael Koenig and senior offensive lineman Cody Mezera for River Ridge and senior running back Hunter Hagensick and senior offensive lineman Jack Draka for Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben.
The defensive second team featured five players from River Ridge and three from Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben. Hamilton (defensive line), Koenig (defensive end), junior Blake Reynolds (inside linebacker), senior Brock Bunge (outside linebacker) and junior Noah Copsey (cornerback) represented the Timberwolves. Draka (defensive line), senior Kaden Roberts (cornerback) and Hagensick (safety) were selected from S-W-S.
Named as an honorable mention offensive selection from River Ridge was senior wide receiver Reese Drew, while senior running back Carson Sime, senior offensive lineman Will Zander and Lomas at kicker represented the Bluegolds. Timberwolves senior Cody Mezera was named honorable mention defense at defensive line.
Earning spots on the sportsmanship team was Zander for Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben and River Ridge senior Tyler Breuer.
