January 28, 1961-August 27, 2025

Daniel J. Meyers, age 64 of Woodman, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

He was born on January 28, 1961, son of the late Gerald and Geraldine (Mergen) Meyers.

Dan grew up in Grant County farming, and he had a true passion for the outdoors. He owned and operated Dan Meyers Logging for over twenty-five years.

Dan was the kind of person everyone wanted to be around. He could make a friend anywhere and loved meeting up with family and friends.

Dan was an avid sportsman who treasured the times going elk hunting in Colorado and fishing up north. He was also an enthusiastic softball player who played in many leagues over the years.

Dan always enjoyed watching sports, and his Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team to watch.

He will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Dan is survived by his son Daniel Meyers; siblings Cindy (Paul) Patros, Vickie Matyi, Jeff Meyers, and Doug Meyers; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Greg Meyers.

A visitation for Dan will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 9-11 a.m. at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel.

Following the visitation, he will be laid to rest in the Bagley Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at The Pine Tree Inn in Bridgeport after the burial from 1-4 p.m.
