The popular River of Music concert series in Guttenberg's Ingleside Park will have a new feature this summer — Market Night will be set up for two concert nights, the first one on Friday, June 20, and the second on Friday, Aug. 8.

Market Night will give local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services at booths near the music venue. Participating businesses will feature various offerings, such as give-aways, free samples, discounts, career opportunities and items for sale.

Market Night will open at 5:30 p.m., with live music by Wildcard set to begin at 6 p.m.

The local Eagles Club will have a food stand set up in the park on June 20, offering burgers and brats.

Participating Market Night businesses include Kuempel Hardware, August and Alma's, K-9 Country, Divine Current Wellness, Meuser Lumber, Kim's Little Bake Shop, Nightingale Drug, Henny Penny's, Brown's Car Dealership, Sode's Perk Central Cafe and Coffee Shop, Unlimited Services, Inc., Guttenberg Gallery and Creativity  Center and Friends of St. Mary's of Guttenberg.

The free River of Music concerts are held every Friday evening beginning at 6 p.m. through Aug. 15, a longer season than previous years. The concerts and Market Night are coordinated by the local Umbrella Arts organization.

Watch The Press for details on the Aug. 8 Market Night, which will include free line dancing lessons as well as a new line-up of participating vendors.
