MFL MarMac junior Devon Meyer finished 18th out of more than 70 golfers in Class 2A at the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union state golf meet, held May 29 and 30 at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone.

 

Meyer, who is the first girls state qualifier in MFL MarMac program history, shot an 84 over 18 holes the opening day. She followed up with an 86 on day two, for a total of 170. 

 

Chloe Bolte from Sumner-Fredericksburg shot a 143 over two days and was the individual state champion for the fourth time. Grace Lewis, who was on the championship team from Oelwein, was the runner-up with a 145.
