William “Bill” Peters, 91, of Cedar Falls (formerly of Colesburg and Guttenberg), passed away on April 23, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held at the Guttenberg Golf Course on Friday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Peters; son, Dave Peters; daughter, Shari (Mike) Sawyer., all of Cedar Falls and two grandchildren, Megan Sawyer of Kansas City, and Owen Sawyer of Cedar Falls/Ames.

Memorials may be given to the Guttenberg or Cedar Falls libraries for large print western books. (His favorite)
