Last week was a slow one for the Central golf team, with just one meet for the boys in the 2025 Clayton Ridge Invitational. Weather postponed a home match-up versus MFL MarMac. 

 

The Warriors finished the 18-hole tournament in Guttenberg in fourth place, shooting 370 as a team. The highest placing golfer for Central was Griffen Hammersland, who finished sixth with an 84, three strokes out of first. 

 

Owen Hammersland finished with an 88 and placed 12th, while Caden Fette was 22nd after shooting a 97. The rest of the team, Owen Burke, Jack Scherf and Isaac Loan, all shot over 100 on the course and placed outside the top 25. 

 

The Warriors will have a more eventful week coming up, with four meets scheduled. The first meet was April 28 at North Fayette Valley, followed by an April 29 make up versus MFL MarMac. They will finish the week with two more home meets: May 1 versus Postville, then May 2 against Turkey Valley.
