The Prairie du Chien Track team competed in a pair of meets last week.
First up was the North Crawford Invitational last Tuesday, April 8. PdC Boys took first out of nine teams with 153 points while the girls team finished fifth with 73.33 points.
Earning first place finishes for the Hawks were the Boys 4x100 Meter Relay team of Garrett DeHart, Hunter Straka, Jackson Perkins and Blake Thiry in a time of 45.08, 4x200 Meter Relay team of Perkins; Mason Hird, Darian Jackson and Brock Radloff in a time of 1:39.86; 4x800 Meter Relay team of Treyton Reames, Spencer Foley, Landon Smith and Sam Kramer in a time of 8:45.60; the Girls 4x200 Meter Relay team of Greenlee Krahn, Karly Kramer, Jayden Henderson and Aspen Gelo in a time of 1:53.86; and Taia Dressler in the High Jump with a jump of 4-08.00.
The Hawks traveled to Lancaster three nights later for the Lancaster Invitational where the PdC boys earned a second place finish out of 18 teams with 81 points while the PdC girls took 11th out of 18 teams with 26.50 points.
The Hawks got first place finishes from Blake Thiry in the 200 Meter Dash in a time of 23.29, the 110 Meter Hurdles in a time of 14.95 and the Triple Jump with a jump of 44-10.00, the Boys 4x800 Meter Relay team of Smith, Foley, Reames and Sam Kramer in a time of 8:37.44, Hunter Straka in the Long Jump with a jump of 21-03.00 and Karly Kramer in the 300 Meter Hurdles in a time of 52.84.
The Hawks traveled to Dodgeville this past Monday night for the Dodge/Point Early Bird Invitational before returning to the track at the Prairie Relays on Tuesday, April 22.
