PdC Boys Golf team starts SWC Season

The Prairie du Chien Boys Golf team traveled to Platteville last Thursday, April 10 for the first SWC Meet of the season. New for this season is that each conference meet will be 18 holes, as opposed to just nine holes in the past. The Hawks finished the meet in fifth place with a team score of 373 after a front nine score of 195 before improving in the back nine with a team score of 178. The Hawks were led individually by Owen Achenbach with a score of 82. He was followed by Tyler Steiber (97), Brock Folsom and Keaton Achenbach (99) and Porter Kossman (103).

The Hawks returned home this past Tuesday night to host a quad meet with Cuba City, Fennimore and Richland Center before traveling on Thursday to Dodge-Point Country Club for the second SWC Meet of the season before heading back to Platteville on Saturday, April 19 for the annual Dick McKichan Invitational.
