The 2025 season began last Tuesday, Apr. 1 for the Prairie du Chien/River Ridge/Seneca girls soccer team when they took on Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld at Wisconsin Heights High School outside of Mazomanie.  The Knights took an early 2-0 in the first half and the score stayed the same until halfway through the second half when PdC/RR/Seneca senior Allison Mathies got the Hawks on the scoreboard with their first goal of the season to bring the Hawks within one goal. The Knights would respond with a third goal a few minutes later and despite a few close chances late, the match ended 3-1 in favor of the Knights.

PdC/River Ridge/Seneca ventured out-of-state three nights later for the first time in program history as the Hawks traveled to Monona to take on MFL MarMac in a non-conference match and the Hawks came away with a 8-0 win to improve their season record to 1-1.

Following the April 8 home opener against La Crosse Aquinas, the Hawks travel to Platteville this Friday evening.
