The Prairie du Chien boys basketball team opened up 2025 last Thursday night by hosting conference leading Platteville. The Hillmen came into the game with a 5-1 overall record and a four-game winning streak.
Platteville jumped out to a 49-6 halftime lead on the Hawks before claiming a 71-27 win. 
Box score was not available at press time. Platteville improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the SWC while the Hawks fell to 0-8 and 0-2 in the SWC. Prairie du Chien continues conference play in Richland Center this Friday night.
