Brian Keith Saeugling, 62, of Saguache, Colo., formerly of Guttenberg, passed away on Dec. 10, 2024.

Brian is being cremated and there will be a celebration of life held in Iowa at a later date.

Brian was born the only son to Keith and Sue Saeugling on Dec. 14, 1961.

After graduating from Guttenberg High School he worked in Iowa, Texas, California, and then settled in Colorado. There he met and married Carol Denise Davey on Aug. 22, 1992. To this union, two children were born, Sawyer John and Suzannah Carol.

Brian enjoyed spending time with his children in the mountains; elk hunting; riding 4-wheelers and fishing in mountain lakes. He loved old cars – particularly his 1972 Chevelle and his dogs: Moose, Aspen and Buck.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sawyer of Castle Rock, Colo. and Suzannah, Alamosa of Colo.; his parents, Keith and Sue Saeugling of Guttenberg; his siblings, Tina (Dave) Gardner, Virginia Saeugling, Cindy (Doug) Davey, Sarah (Scott) Fischer and Janice (Dan) Berns; many sisters- and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and his sister, Linda.
