July 7, 1956–November 19, 2024

Donna Jeanne (Stoehr) Olson passed away on November 19 at home with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 7, 1956, to Donald and Adeline Stoehr. She was raised on the family farm in rural Seneca and lived in the Seneca area much of her life.

She enjoyed a full life with Rob Donohue, her devoted partner of over 25 years, who tended to her when she became ill, and baked and weeded her gardens for her when she no longer could. She was dedicated to her job at Johnson’s One Stop for over 40 years as the paint expert and go-to for everyone in the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters.

She is survived by her partner Rob, children Brooke (Shaun), Nicole (Justin), and Justin (Cibyl) and four grandchildren, Timothy, Lyall, Esther, Lincoln, and one more on the way, as well as her siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and two kitties. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A Remembrance of Donna’s life will be held at the Seneca Town Hall on Friday, November 29, from noon until 3 p.m. This community gathering will include a prayer service at 12:30 p.m.

The family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Crossing Rivers Hospice for the wonderful care and support they provided to Donna and them.
