The Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics (GMHC) Family Resource Center is offering the following charitable programs to assist community members in need during the upcoming holiday season. 

Giving opportunities to help those in need including food, clothing, gifts, toys and monetary donations will be accepted. 

The Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics Family Resource Center staff says, "Thank you for partnering with us to care

for our communities!" 

Thanksgiving Food Box

Food boxes containing supplies to prepare a Thanksgiving meal will be available for pickup at the following locations. Recipients must call ahead at 563-252-3215. 

In Edgewood at Cornerstone Family Practice, 101 South Washington Street on: 

• Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. 

In Guttenberg at Family Resource Center, 514 South River Park Drive on: 

• Thursday, Nov. 21, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• Friday, Nov. 22, from 8: a.m. - noon. 

• Monday, Nov. 25, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

• Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Coats collection

The GMHC Family Resource Center is now collecting new or gently used winter apparel of all sizes. 

Donations of coats, snow pants, mittens, hats, and scarves can be dropped off at the Family Resource Center located at 514 South River Park Drive in Guttenberg.

Christmas gifts for kids 

Could your family use a little help this holiday season with toys for your children? The GMHC Family Resource Center is here to help. 

Forms are available by scanning poster QR codes, or contacting the Family Resource Center at 514 South River Park Drive in Guttenberg, or calling 563-252-3215.

Forms must be filled out by Wednesday, Dec. 4. Gifts can be picked up at the Family Resource Center from Dec. 16 - 20.

Would you like to donate? There are many options available.

• Adopt a Family

• Donate toys and/or food

• Donate cash

• Pick a child from the wreath at GMHC

All toy and food donations are due to the Family Resource Center by Wednesday, Dec. 11

• Thursday, Dec. 19, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• Friday, Dec. 20, from 8:00 a.m. - noon.
