The Seneca Volleyball team traveled to North Crawford last Tuesday, October 8 and came away with a pair of conference victories. 
First up for the Royals was De Soto and the Royals earned a three-set sweep of the Pirates with wins of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-18.
The final match of the night for the Royals was against rival Wauzeka-Steuben, and the Royals earned their second three-set match sweep of the night with wins of 25-12, 25-9 and 25-11. 
Seneca hit the road again this past Monday night when they traveled to Kickapoo High School and the Royals earned another three-set sweep with wins of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-20 over the host Panthers.
The three victories moved Seneca’s overall record to 17-8 overall and 10-2 in the Ridge & Valley Conference, one game behind first place Ithaca. The two teams met up again last night in Seneca. The Royals end the regular season tomorrow night when they travel to La Farge to take on the Wildcats.  
The Royals earned the no. 5 seed in their D5 regional grouping and received a bye into the regional semifinal round and will face the winner of the match between no. 6 seed Wonewoc-Center and no. 11 seed Coulee Christian/Providence Academy on Thursday, Oct. 24.
