The Seneca Cross Country team traveled to Viola last Thursday, Oct. 3 and finished the boys race in fifth place out of nine teams with 158 points. 

Leading the Royals with a 13th place finish was Gabriel Hamann in a time of 19:14. Following Hamann was Jaren Grimsled in 21st place (20:21), Thomas Caya in 34th place (21:54), Simon Fek in 39th place (22:40), Pablo Altadill-Salmon in 51st place (27:49) and Grant Sime in 56th place (30:43). 

Livian Starkey placed 48th in a time of 30:33 in the girls race.

The Royals runners competed at last night’s River Ridge Invitational before running at the Riverdale Invitational this Saturday.
