Seneca falls to Ithaca, sweep North Crawford

The Seneca Volleyball team traveled to Ithaca last Tuesday, Oct. 1 and were dealt a tough loss in five sets. The Bulldogs won the first two sets (27-25 and 25-13) before the Royals won the following two sets (25-21 and 25-22) to force a winner take all fifth game. Ithaca earned the match win with a 15-12 win. Seneca hosted North Crawford two nights later and the Royals defeated the Trojans in three sets (25-15, 25-16, 25-20).
A milestone was reached during the Royals home win over Wauzeka-Steuben on Tuesday, Sept. 24 as Seneca sophomore Addison Davidson recorded her 1,000th career assist during the first set of the match.
The Royals traveled to Soldiers Grove last night for a pair of conference matches against De Soto and Wauzeka-Steuben. Seneca will hit the road again Monday, Oct. 14 when they travel to Kickapoo High School.
