Hornets beaten by Kickapoo, overcome De Soto

The Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets Volleyball team traveled to Viola last Tuesday, Oct. 01 for a conference match and fell in four sets. The host Kickapoo Panthers won the first two matches 25-17 and 25-12 before the Hornets took the third set 25-23 with the hosts winning the third set 25-13.

The Hornets traveled to De Soto two nights later and left with a match win in five sets (26-24, 19-25, 25-17, 16-25, 15-13).

The Hornets were in action last night at North Crawford High School when they competed in a conference quad meet against Seneca and North Crawford. W-S returns home tomorrow night to host La Farge/Youth Initiative.
