The Seneca Volleyball team welcomed conference rival Wauzeka-Steuben to town last Tuesday, Sept. 24, and the Royals earned a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Hornets with set wins of 25-8, 25-19 and 25-19.  La Farge/Youth Initiative came to town two nights later, and the Royals came away with another 3-0 conference sweep.

Seneca ended the week by attending the RIchland Center Invitational on Saturday and came away with a second place finish by going 4-1 on the day. The Royals defeated Necedah 2-1 (25-13, 22-25, 15-9), Prairie du Chien 2-1 (25-12, 22-25, 15-12), Riverdale 2-0 (25-17, 25-22) and La Farge/Youth Initiative 2-0. Richland Center handed Seneca their only match loss of the tournament by defeating the Royals 2-0 (26-24 and 25-15).

The Royals traveled to Ithaca last night before hosting North Crawford tomorrow night.
