October 28, 1942–August 29, 2024

Mary A. Barrette, age 81 of Prairie du Chien passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1942, to John Henry and Marguerite (Thimmesch) Barrette. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy with the class of 1961. Mary was a long time cook at Kaber’s Supper Club in Prairie du Chien until retirement. She was an active member of Holy Family Parish in Prairie du Chien and sang in the church choir. She is survived by two brothers Joseph and Ralph Barrette. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Theresa Teachman.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, September 3, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Church of the Holy Family Parish. Fr. Brandon Guenther officiated, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery in Prairie du Chien. www.garrityfuneralhome.com
