Osterdock's Stockyard Restaurant and Fritzs Farmhouse will present a night of musical entertainment featuring country artist Cory Farley on Saturday, Sept. 7, at
Fritzs Farmhouse located at 33195 Garber Road on the outskirts of Guttenberg. Tickets are $25, and can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.com or at the door.
The show begins at 7 p.m. with opener Bill Stock. His fun show and over 250 song list is sure to please audience members.
Nashville's Cory Farley
From Nashville Tennessee, country music singer/songwriter Cory Farley will take the stage at 8 p.m. Cory plays on the famous Broadway strip in Nashville multiple nights a week along with touring the country with his signature voice and unforgettable shows.
Food and drinks will be provided by Stockyard Restaurant and available for purchase.

Plow Days
The Stockyard Restaurant is hosting Plow Days in the field across from the restaurant on Sept. 28. The free event for all ages will feature antique tractors and plows. If you would like to bring a tractor and plow, contact Joe Kann at 563-880-2122.
Whistlin'Bit Saddle Club
The Stockyard Restaurant and the Whistlin'Bit Saddle Club are teaming up for a weekend of fun, food, music and trail rides on Oct. 12 and 13. Trail riders will meet both days at the Stockyard Restaurant located at 3559 Kiln Road, Osterdock.
Stockyard Annual Trail Ride
The Stockyard Annual Trail Ride will take place on Oct. 12, beginning at 11 a.m. sharp. The cost is $25 and includes a meal and music following the ride. First come first serve primitive camping will be available.

76th Annual Club trail Ride
The 76th Annual Whistlin' Bit Saddle Club Trail Ride will take place on Oct. 13, beginning at 11 a.m. sharp with a free will donation appreciated.

Annual Hay Ride
The Annual Hay Ride will take place on Oct. 19. Cost is $30 per person or $50 a couple. Beverages are included and also stops at two additional bars. The wagon will leave the Stockyard at 5 p.m. Please call 563-252-1199 for reservations.
Stockyard Restaurant
Young entrepreneur Joe Kann of Guttenberg used his fond memories of spending time in Texas as a youth with his family as the motivation for the newly remodeled Stockyard Restaurant and Bar located at 3559 Kiln Road in Osterdock.
The Stockyard menu includes good old-fashioned hometown cooking made from scratch. The kitchen staff hand-patties all their burgers, hand-cuts and breads their chicken tenders, serves fresh-cut homemade French fries, and offers a variety of daily specials including Pasta Wednesday, Taco Thursdays and pizza served on Sundays. The bar serves classic rail drinks and a wide selection of beer and soda.
The Stockyard offers canoeists, kayakers and water enthusiasts a great opportunity to pull out at Turkey River Access 12 and enjoy a bite to eat and a cold drink on the restaurant's outdoor patio, or seated indoors in the air-conditioned restaurant. A player piano and several guitars for public use are available for customers that wish to showcase their musical talent.

Fritzs Farmhouse Barn
Fritzs Farmhouse barn venue offers a rustic country space for weddings, graduations, retreats, and family celebrations. The barn seats 50-100 guests and has tables and chairs available.
If you would like to hold your event outdoors there is a large oak tree with an arch placed in front, creating the perfect backdrop for all occasions.
The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is available to rent for guests and consists of three levels. The first level includes a kitchen, dining room, living room, full bathroom with washer and dryer, and a twin-size bedroom.
The second floor features a full-size bedroom with a TV, two queen-size bedrooms, a full bathroom, and access to the deck.
The third floor includes games for the whole family and a shuffleboard table.
Please note that the barn is not included in the Farmhouse rental for events, but is available for rent at an additional cost. In addition, those handling the schedules will not book any events in the barn at the time of your stay.
