Cole Roger Wille, 25, of Garnavillo, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at his home after a long battle with depression.

Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 25, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo and before services at the funeral home on Monday.

Services were Monday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home, conducted by Father Moser.

Inurnment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Garnavillo.

Cole was born to Andy and Wendy (Falb) Wille on Nov. 29, 1998, in Dubuque. Cole was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Garnavillo and received his first communion at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. He graduated MFL MarMac High School, Monona and Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in Phoenix, Ariz. where he learned to be an Audio Engineer.

Cole was a hard worker, welding next to his Dad since he was a little boy until present. I heard many times, “I gotta go work mommy.” He had a great love for music and was very talented and innovative. He could play any instrument possible, playing guitar and singing was his favorite. He loved working in his studio, writing songs, jamming, teaching and recording music. And most recently, he enjoyed mixing live music for the Jay R Brink Band. Cole was also taking flying lessons in Decorah, he hoped someday he could fly full time. He loved spending time with his brothers, his sister, his family, friends, cousins and band mates. He excelled at everything he did, whether it was welding, flying, music, video games and “working smarter not harder.”

Cole is survived by his dad, Andy (Amber) Wille of Garnavillo; his mom, Wendy (Joe Baldridge) Falb of McGregor; his siblings, Riley Wille of Monona, Tyler Wille of Guttenberg, Karly Wille and Karter Wille, both of Garnavillo; his grandparents, Roger and Marilyn Falb of Elgin, Anna Wille of Garnavillo, Rick (Lori) Kaufman of Prairie du Chien and Kristi (Phil) Brandt of Guttenberg; his uncles and aunts, Shannon (Kristie) Falb of Arizona, Shane (Melissa) Falb of New Sharon, Tom (LuAnn) Wille of Dubuque, Tony (Liz) Wille of Monona, Ted Wille of Garnavillo, Theresa (Mark) Nemechek of Sac City, Carl (Kelly) Wille of Waukon, Phil (Tonya) Wille of Garnavillo, Adam (Meghan) Kaufman of Indiana and Alissa Kaufman of Prairie du Chien; fifteen cousins, Addisen, Breckin, Alesha and family, Matt and family, Rachel and family, Caleb, Luke, Wyatt, Carmen, Wade, Carson, Lexi and family, TJ, Jayce and Alyssa and many great friends.

Cole was preceded in death by his grandpa, Joe Wille and great-grandpas, Bob Falb and Leslie Anderson.

I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always. As long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.

Fly high Cole and keep rockin!

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
