Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Donna Mae Witham, 74, of Guttenberg, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024, at MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque.

Visitation was Monday, Aug. 5, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 6, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Pastor Michael Ashman.

Burial was at Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Donna was born on Oct. 14, 1949, the daughter of Cecil and Violet (Marquette) Weidman in Waterloo.

Donna graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967. She married Glenn Witham on June 24, 1967. Together, they welcomed three children, Matt, Dawn, and Travis. Donna proudly served as a Home Health Aide for 25 years at the Guttenberg Pharmacy. After retiring, Donna worked part-time in the infant room at Kids Campus. She loved children and received so much joy from the babies she cared for. She had fond memories of her time as a Blazerette for the Guttenberg Fire Department and was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Donna is remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and support of her family and community.

She loved spending time with her family and lived for the moments that would bring the entire family together.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, and spending time out on the Mississippi.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Glenn; children: Matt Witham (Nancy) of Guttenberg, Ia,Dawn Hankes (Mark) of Kansas City, Mo, and Travis Witham (Kara) of Solon; mother-in-law, Ivanelle Stone of Guttenberg; sister-in-law, Pattie (Terry) Drexler of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky Wiedman; and two granddaughters, Brandi and Sage Witham.
