By Caroline Rosacker
The Guttenberg Public Library's summer reading program/challenge Adventure Begins at the Library! Read, Explore, Create, Discover! began June 21, with an exotic animal program sponsored by Guttenberg Industries and presented by Dr. Mike Bechtel, Associate Professor of Science Education at Wartburg College, followed by a visit from Osborne on June 26.
Programming will take a pause the week of Fourth of July, and resume on Wednesday, July 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the Guttenberg Library.
"Every other year the Clayton County Library Association does a round robin program," said Librarian Katey Simon. "This year we will be featuring the children's book Addie Ant goes on an Adventure, by authors Maren Morris and Karina Argow, and illustrator Kelly Anne Dalton. A craft and game will also be part of this program."
