The No-Nonsense Prairie Bass Series held their first tournament in Prairie du Chien of the 2024 season on Saturday, June 22.

Conditions for the NNPBS’s third tournament of 2024 in Prairie du Chien was less than ideal thanks to a rapidly rising Mississippi River and thunderstorms in the area that surrounded the beginning and the ending of the event.

Those factors, combined with Great Lakes Watercross tournament on St. Feriole Island  the same weekend, led to a busy waterfront for all competitors (anglers and jet ski operators). However, that did not dampen things for the NNPBS too much as the tournament featured 83 registered boats.

These were the tournament’s top ten finishers by  total weight of the fish they weighed at the end of the day - First place - Jason Eastman  and Jason Swanson (18.64 pounds).

Second Place - Nate and Maddox Cejka (18.04 pounds).

Third Place - Jeff Ritter and Kevin McConnell (17.32 pounds).

Fourth Place - Cameron Ingle and Jacob Maloney (17.25 pounds).

Fifth Place - Mike Brueggen and Mike Wilmoth (17.01 pounds).

Sixth Place - Kole Brandel and Ben Andregg (16.40 pounds).

Seventh Place - Drew Campbell and Noah Weigel (16.31 pounds).

Eighth Place - Justin Tollefson and Tyler Hannah (15.04 pounds).

Ninth Place - Hunter Sheckler and Dylan Yeomans (15.02 pounds).

Tenth Place - Jordan Graham and Tom Williams (14.98 pounds).

The next tour date for the No-Nonsense Prairie Bass Series is scheduled to  take place on Saturday, July 20.
