Hurda, Wall repeat as Pitcher and Player of the Year as Ridge & Valley announces All-Conference Softball Team

Wauzeka-Steuben senior Cameron Hurda was named the Ridge & Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year for a second consecutive season while teammate Ally Wall was also named Player of the Year (alongside Ithaca’s Josie Laue) by the league for a second consecutive season.
The conference champion Hornets had nine players earn recognition from the conference while the Royals had five players named.
First Team — Kylie Chambers, Jr., Seneca, Cameron Hurda, Sr., Wauzeka-Steuben, Brianna Ray, Fr., Wauzeka-Steuben, Kylie Stluka, Sr., Seneca, Ally Wall, Sr., Wauzeka-Steuben and Emma Wall, Jr., Wauzeka-Steuben.
Second Team — Morgan Berger, Sr., Wauzeka-Steuben, Isabella Bunders, So., Wauzeka-Steuben, Addison Davidson, Fr., Seneca, Kiley Manning, Jr., Wauzeka-Steuben and Liz Wright, Jr., Wauzeka-Steuben.
Honorable Mention —Brigid Hall, So., Seneca.
All-Sportsmanship Team - Harper Gagas, Fr., Seneca and Claudia Walz, So., Wauzeka-Steuben.
Wauzeka-Steuben Head Coach Dustin Smith was named the Coach of the Year by the league after coaching the Hornets to a 12-0 league record and the program’s first conference championship since 2019.
