The Prairie du Chien/River Ridge/Seneca girls soccer team traveled to La Crosse on Monday, May 13 to do battle with the Aquinas Blugolds for the second time this season. Unlike the first match which ended in a 2-2 draw, this one went to Aquinas as they hand the Hawks a 2-0 defeat.

The Hawks returned to the pitch four nights later as they hosted Richland Center on senior night. Prairie du Chien got three first half goals and two more in the second half for the 5-0 victory. Three of those goals came from junior Tessa Czajkowski Higgins. Her first goal, which occurred early in the first half, was the 52nd goal of her career and it moved her out of a tie with alums Chas Sagedahl and Andrew Kordus for the most career goals by any Prairie du Chien Soccer player in school history. The Hawks also got goals from Hannah Fritsche and Allison Mathies in the win.

 The Hawks improved to 7-4-3 overall and 4-3-2 in the SWC after the win.

PdC/River Ridge/Seneca traveled to Spring Green last night to face River Valley in the conference finale. The Hawks will end the regular season on Friday when they travel to Mindoro to take on the Melrose-Mindoro/Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau co-op.

Followin the game with Melrose-Mindoro/G-E-T, the Hawks will be off until Thursday, May 30 when they begin postseason play. PdC received the tenth seed in their sectional grouping and will travel to the seventh seed Dodgeville/Mineral Point for a D3 Regional Semifinal contest.
