Bulldogs wrap up soccer regular season at Postville

The MFL MarMac boys and girls soccer teams wrapped up the regular season at Postville on May 7. 

 

The lady Bulldogs played the Pirates to a 0-0 draw in a JV match-up. They ended the regular season 2-6-1, after earning a pair of JV victories over Decorah and Postville. MFL MarMac played at West Delaware in a Class 1A - Region 7 postseason game on May 13.

 

Postville defeated the Bulldog boys 10-0, scoring five goals in the first half and five more in the second. The Pirates took 21 shots on goal, capitalizing on 47.6 percent of opportunities. They also made two of three penalty kicks.

 

The MFL MarMac boys closed the regular season 0-6. Postseason play began May 13, at Beckman Catholic.
