Keith Eugene Beaty, 76 of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Divine Rehab and Nursing in Fennimore, WI. Keith was born March 26, 1947 to Dale Eugene and Agnes Irene (Fuller) Beaty in La Crosse, Wisconsin. 

Keith was married to Dixie Knickerbocker, one daughter was born to this union. They later divorced. On Oct. 17, 1981, Keith was united in marriage with Lynda Howell, one son was born to this union. Keith was a Cook at Campion High School until it closed and then became a janitor at the Prairie du Chien High School. He was a collector of many things including antiques. Keith enjoyed working in the yard, going for rides, cooking, going to church and going out to breakfast at Huckleberries. He loved his cats.

Surviving Keith are his wife, Lynda Beaty of Prairie du Chien, WI; children, Mistie Abnet of La Crosse, WI and Bryan Beaty of Bagley, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Rhett and Blake; great -grandchildren, Jaxon and Wynter; sisters, Shirley Gordon and Bernice Bugbee; several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Bud and Dee Hill.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Agnes Beaty; grandma, Rosie; brother, Marion Beaty; and infant sister, Bonnie.

A visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien, WI. There will also be a one hour visitation before services at the church on Friday.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, WI with Rev. Miranda Klosterboer and Rev. Hillary Burns-Kite as the officiants.

Interment will follow at the Wauzeka Cemetery in Wauzeka, WI.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is assisting the family with services.
