Trudy R. Vogt, 68, of Guttenberg completed her life journey on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at Guttenberg Care Center.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg. 

Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Guttenberg. 

She was born on May 11, 1955, in Guttenberg, the daughter of William and Kathleen (Wachendorf) Vogt.

Trudy graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1974. She was employed at various manufacturing jobs before returning to Guttenberg working for Products Unlimited until the closing of the factory.

She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and board games, but loved “going to the boat” to gamble. She also provided childcare to her nieces and nephews when needed. Trudy was the happiest with a cigarette in hand while visiting with family and friends. 

Survivors include her siblings: Karilyn Smith, Tom Vogt, Emily (Dan) Mueller, Todd Vogt, Tim Vogt; brother-in-law, Ron Kulper and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jill Kulper; brother-in-law, Luke Smith; sister-in-law, Shirley Vogt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will benefit local organizations that Trudy supported or utilized.
