The margin was even greater in a 66-15 win over Riceville in the second dual. Howes and Koehn secured their second falls of the night, while Schaller, Lerch, Anderson and McGeough also pinned their opponents. Wolfgang Martins Saboria (106), Ross, Schroeder, Kishman and Mathis won by forfeit.

The Warriors snagged four pins of their own over Lerch, Stone Saboria, Ross and Schroeder. They earned additional points on Bulldog forfeits at 144 and 150 pounds.
MFL MarMac wrapped up the night with a 60-24 loss to host North Fayette Valley—their first dual loss of the season.
The TigerHawks started the dual with six straight falls over Howes, Stone Saboria, Ross, Anderson, Schroeder and Kishman, taking a commanding lead. Mathis stopped the streak with a pin at 138 pounds, but NFV got back on the board thanks to forfeits at 144 and 150 pounds.
Bulldogs Koehn and McGeough continued to cruise with respective falls at 157 and 165 pounds, before Kohrs and Schaller were pinned by their TigerHawk opponents. The dual ended with a forfeit victory to MFL MarMac’s Lerch.
The Bulldogs concluded the week Jan. 6, at Maquoketa Valley’s Farr Jebens Invitational, where they placed sixth of 12 teams with 138 points. Jesup won the tournament with 204.
MFL MarMac was led by Mathis, Koehn and Howes, who all placed second in their respective brackets. Another trio—Anderson, Kishman and McGeough—finished fourth, while Ross, Schroeder and Lerch took fifth in their weight classes. Zuercher did not place.
The Bulldogs will enjoy the comforts of home this week, hosting Central, Postville and Tripoli for a conference quad on Jan. 11. The annual MFL MarMac Invitational is Jan. 13 in Monona.
