Linda Morovits died on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023 surrounded by family.
Linda Louise Osterberg was born April 8, 1948, to Russell and Dorothy (Hoff) Osterberg, the youngest of three daughters. She grew up in the community of Stoughton, before moving to Eastman as a young woman.
On Jan. 25, 1969, she married Larry Morovits, and they made their home in Eastman. Linda had an unparalleled work ethic and worked at Advance Transformer for well over thirty years.
Linda loved being a mom. She was involved and supportive and always there to help when needed. She was overjoyed to become a grandma and excelled at that job. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and if you were a friend of Linda’s, you surely heard a lot of bragging. As well as being a terrific mother and grandmother, Linda was a great cook and baker and was usually happiest when she was making, serving, or delivering food to someone.
Linda was a rather unassuming woman who didn’t always believe in her abilities. She definitely underestimated her physical strength and strength of character, proving herself a bad ass beyond measure as she faced a very unkind illness in the last few months.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Larry; her parents, Russell and Dorothy; her beloved uncles, Howard and Neil; her aunts, Ruth and Lil; her in-laws, George and Agnes Moravits; her brothers-in-law, Clyde Zilmer and Clifford Moravits; her sisters-in-law Kimi and Roxanna Moravits; and her dear niece, Tonya Moravits Hill.
Linda is survived by her children, Tracy (Dick)Feye; Paul(Christina Hendricks) Morovits; her sisters Donna (Bob) Maurer and Judy (Bob) Rabe; as well as her grandchildren, Jack, Owen, Abby, and Vince Feye.
