Janet E. Kramer, 71, of Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023. She was born Jan. 11, 1952 in Huron, South Dakota, daughter of Donald and Betty Keister. Janet attended and graduated from Prairie Du Chien High School.

She spent the last several years spending time with her family and caring for her grandkids whom she loved dearly.

Janet really enjoyed a quiet evening at home doing crafts with her daughter Jenny, whether it be crocheting or sewing.

Janet is survived by daughters, Jennifer Stagman (Tim) of Prairie Du Chien and Mary Lenzendorf (Rodney) of Machesney Park, Illinois; son, Spencer Kramer of Prairie Du Chien; grandchildren, Jon, Clara, Jordan, Preston, Ryan (Cory), Levi, Brianna (Patrick), Sean, Hunter, Mason, Draven, Ashton, Roman; nine great-grandchildren, Danica, Elijah, Everleigh, Lillian, Patrick, Arthur, Theo, Hazel and Ellanor; one sister, Brenda Troendle (Glenn); two brothers, Mark “Tiny” Gibson and Miles (Roberta) Gibson and her lifelong friend, Linda Corlett, among many other close friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane Kramer; parents, Donald and Julia Keister; son, David Kramer; grandson, Brett James Kramer; brothers, Gene and Roger Keister and great-niece, Megan Mason.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.

A memorial gathering for Janet will be held Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
