Four Timberwolves land on Six Rivers All-Conference Volleyball team

PATCH GROVE – Four members of coach Dianne Langmeier’s River Ridge varsity volleyball team earned postseason honors at the conclusion of the 2023 season, as voted on by the coaches of the Six Rivers West conference.
Heading the list was senior outside hitter Shayna Graf, who was a first-team all-conference selection and honored among the top seven players in the conference.
Graf led the Timberwolves this past season with 161 total kills and 25 service aces, to go along with 47 blocks, 174 digs and 18 assists.
Named to the Six Rivers West all-conference second team was junior Reghan Zinkle, who had a team-high 60 blocks this past season to go along with 132 kills, 14 service aces, 130 digs and 13 assists.
Sophomore setter Josey Drone was named to the honorable-mention squad after leading the Timberwolves with 185 assists to go along with 147 digs, 24 service aces, 40 kills and 10 blocks.
Earning a spot on this year’s seven-player All-Sportsmanship team was River Ridge senior Brooklyn Mezera, who concluded the season with 10 kills, 14 assists, six digs, three blocks and one service ace.
The Timberwolves concluded the season with an overall match record of 9-13 after going 6-6 in league play to finish fourth in the conference standings.
