The Royals traveled to Wauzeka on Tuesday night, Oct. 10 to take on a scrappy Hornets team.  Seneca started out strong and won the first set 25-14.  The second set was closer and the Royals had to push through to take the second set 25-21.  Strong serving from both Ava Sime and Maya Buffington propelled the team in those two sets.  The third set the royals were down and needed to regroup to get back in the match and ended winning the third set 25-17.

Lucy Manning led the attacks with 25 kills followed by Sky Gilbertson with 9.  Emma Manning had 20 digs on the night followed by Lucy with 21.  Addison Davidson recorded 30 assists on the night.

The Royals hosted De Soto on Thursday night, Oct. 12 for the final conference match-up of the regular season.  The Royals started strong in each set never looking back.  Winning strong 25-10, 25-13, & 25-9.  Lucy Manning finished with 26 kills, followed by Kylie Chambers with 5.  Addison Davidson had a strong performance with 33 kills and 5 aces.

With the win, the girls won the conference title with a 13-1 record, and a  20-6 overall record.  This team has developed great team chemistry and each girl plays an important role on the team.  Developing a whole new team after graduating 7 seniors from the 2022 team takes great determinations and commitment from players.

The Royals received a #4 seed in their Division 4 group and hosted conference rival La Farge on Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the first round of regionals.
