Sally Jo (Havlicek) Cook, 63, of Monona, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023.

 

She was born April 5, 1960, to Robert and Karen Havlicek in Prairie du Chien, Wis. Sally loved learning and received degrees in computer programming and accounting and was a bookkeeper for Havlicek Trucking.

 

In her younger days, Sally enjoyed participating in sports until her accident left her unable to do so. She continued to be an avid sports fan and loved watching her nieces and nephews participate in all their activities. She enjoyed having them come to visit and stay with her and grandma. They were her pride and joy. She enjoyed playing board games and cards with family and friends. Over the years, she had several compassionate cats and dogs whom she loved. 

 

She is preceded in death by her dad, Robert; her grandparents, Frank and Agnes Havlicek and Delbert and Marie Shroeder; her sister, Cindy; aunt, Betty Schroeder, and her aunt and uncle, Ann and Bob Eichacker.

 

She is survived by her mom, Karen Havlicek; brother, Dan (Pam) Havlicek; nieces and nephews, Dawn Wedo, Crystal (Dave) Duhnke, Shane Wedo , Kenny Christianson and Aspen Havlicek and Max Havlicek; and several great- nieces and nephews.

 

A private family graveside service will be held.

 

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, is helping the family with the arrangements.
