September 13, 1957-August 13, 2023

Christopher Kaber,  65, of Prairie du Chien passed away Aug. 13, 2023, following a brief illness.  He was born Sept. 13, 1957 in Prairie du Chien the son of Rex and Joan (Kramer) Kaber.  

He married Deann Emberson on Mar. 5, 1983 in Indianapolis, IN.  Chris worked as a yardman for Dillman Equipment in Prairie du Chien for 26 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deann, his brother Jon Kaber, sisters Kathy (Michael) Kruse and Mary Jo (Larry) Hamann along with special nephews, Kyle and Kevin Kaber.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

According to Chris’ wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.  A Celebration of Chris’ life is being planned for a future date.
