On May 13, from 1-5 pm the Community Health Services Foundation will host the first annual family FUNdraiser at Prairie Funland.

It will be an afternoon filled with Mini Golf, as well as additional ticket packages that include Go-Karts, Bumper Cars and more!  Mini Golf will be teams of 4 each; with two shotgun sessions; Session 1: 1-3 pm and Session 2: 3-5pm. Prizes will be rewarded to the “Oldest” and “Youngest” teams, best score.  There will also be several “challenge” holes to make the game that more fun!

In 2017, the Community Health Services Foundation was created as a non-profit organization dedicated to helping support the mission of Community Health Services, that consists of Prairie Maison, Bluff Haven Assisted Living, and LaBatisse Apartments. The Foundation seeks to secure financial resources it will need as it grows and expands to meet the needs of the community. The first project, “Growing Connections Campaign” was kicked off in 2019 to create and develop a garden area that the residents and their families could enjoy. This three year project was completed in the fall of 2023 thanks to the strong support of sponsors and community members. With this help, 100% of funds raised will go to the future projects. Planned projects include building a larger outdoor shelter, outdoor seating, smart TVs for resident areas and more.

This is a great way to have fun on Mother’s Day Weekend; so bring your Mom, Aunt, Grandma, everyone! Come out and have fun while raising money for our residents at Community Health Services.
