The Governor’s Scholar Recognition Award was presented to Lexi Loan for being Central’s highest academic achiever based on GPA and ACT scores.

Katelyn Scherf and Tate Berns received the Silver Cords Award for volunteering over 100 hours during the course of their high school careers.

Dana Burns presented Dan McGreal with a scholarship from FreedomBank.

Alison White was honored multiple times at the senior awards night.

Jane Metcalf presents Hannah Asche with the Donna and Carl Wessel Spirit Award.

Central Community School held its annual awards night last week, honoring members of the senior class as they inch toward graduation. The ceremony celebrated academic achievement, service, character and successes each student has earned over the last four years. Several monetary awards sponsored by local fundraising for the Central Community Scholarship Foundation were also presented. Awardees included:
